Pagers; Are they still in use?

Well some people like me never had the chance to use a pager but only saw others use them. I sat to think about pagers recently and i share with you some of my thoughts.

So then my question; Are pagers still in use. I read a few stuff online and it appears pagers are still common with Doctors especially and few other business people. However with the invasion of the handhelds: the PDAs, Smartphone among others, i think pager or beepers as some know it have been pushed into the shadows.

With the rolling out of Android Tablets and Phones all over the place lately, we sure are gonna miss Pagers (Not all of us cos some people still can't let go off them).
